Tribe Twelve
tt000.jpg

My YouTube channel for my project on The Twelve Tribes of Israel.
Update: The class project was canceled.
Update: This channel will now serve as a memorial for my late cousin, Milo Asher. RIP.
Update: This channel will document my investigation into my cousin's death and other odd occurrences.

The Tribe Twelve video account concerns one man in his attempts to resist the machinations of an otherworldly monster and its closer-to-home extensions. Indeed, the well-intentioned bystanders watching online cannot trust in the safety of his home, or anyone’s, or anywhere –because insanity and paranoia cannot be irrational in places where the nightmares are real.

Season One, Part One

  • May 18, 2010 – Noah Maxwell creates YouTube and Twitter accounts for his school project
    • May 21, 2010 – Noah’s teacher cancels the project
    • May 28, 2010 – Milo Asher is found dead in his room, apparently a suicide by overdose; his mother, Mary Asher, calls Noah to break the news (Milo’s father, Robert Asher, having been dead since his childhood)
    • June 4, 2010 – Noah posts “Introduction - In Memory of Milo Asher” to the Tribe Twelve channel, intending to commemorate Milo with footage of his last visit in 2008
      • The end of the video contains a hidden frame that Noah does not acknowledge; eventually, these become commonplace
  • June 7, 2010 – Noah posts the first of the “Submission” videos, all six of which show Milo behaving strangely and include appearances by a tall, suited figure (much later called the Administrator); Noah reports insomnia on Twitter in the process
  • June 17, 2010 – Noah describes his current state of paranoia at the end of “Tape Analysis”
  • July 5, 2010 – Noah attends Milo’s funeral and notices that Mary seems to be avoiding him
    • Karl Maxwell, Noah’s grandfather whose dementia only allows him to speak German, invites Noah to his house to say that the figure in Noah’s videos is a monster he encountered in World War II during an OSS mission in the Black Forest; he abruptly shoos Noah outside, and Noah only learns what he said days later after having it translated by a friend (later identified as Kevin Haas)
  • July 31, 2010 – Noah takes note of noises inside his house
    • August 5, 2010 – Noah records the noises while sleeping and, once awoken, follows them outside and finds a box on his porch
    • August 9, 2010 – Noah opens the box, finding an unraveled DV tape, crumpled note, flip phone, key, and miscellaneous electronic parts
    • September 17, 2010 – Noah posts “Box Analysis”, in which he has retrieved audio and image files on the phone relating to the Administrator and footage from the tape showing a person with glasses (later called the Observer); Noah mentions that Mary is not accepting his calls
  • September 23, 2010 – on Twitter, Noah reveals that he has had recurring nightmares about the Victor Park boardwalk shown in his 2008 footage
    • September 24, 2010 – Noah finds a dead white ibis on his lawn
    • October 5, 2010 – a panicked tweet that Noah cannot recall making says that the Administrator was in his closet
    • October 13, 2010 – Noah thinks that he heard the box’s phone vibrating despite its screen not working
    • October 14, 2010 – Noah posts a Twitter image of a car fire down the street, which has visual tearing like his videos
    • October 19, 2010 – Noah wakes up with a nosebleed after a nightmare he has forgotten
    • October 27, 2010 – amidst more insomnia, Noah reiterates his intention to go back to the boardwalk
  • October 31, 2010 – Noah experiences another nosebleed and tapes himself answering the box’s phone, yielding a muffled voice on the end who makes vague threats about watching him; sometime between October 13 and that day, Noah films the Administrator’s tendrils creeping into his room and promptly forgets doing so
  • November 6, 2010 – Noah tweets that “the panic attacks come in waves now. I'm close to having a mental breakdown”
    • November 11, 2010 – the Twitter is hijacked with gibberish, a coded message (“He took me to the dark place today. No light graces this place”), an image of a screen displaying 4:44 and 11:11, and an un-spaced string of ones and “hellothere” ending in “watchingwaitingforyou~”
    • Hijack video “HELLOTHERE” is a series of vivid imagery displayed in absolute black-and-white, addressing Noah with vague threats and warnings written in scratchy text
    • November 12, 2010 – Noah discovers the hijack and claims not to have posted any of it
  • November 13, 2010 – Noah posits that he was hacked and considers staying with a friend for Thanksgiving
    • November 17, 2010 – Noah asks viewers in Florida if he could stay with any of them November 25 through 27, as his own friends have all said no
    • November 23, 2010 – Noah confirms that he is staying with viewer AugmentedAngel, AKA Sarah
    • November 25, 2010 – Noah arrives at Sarah’s house; that night, he briefly disappears from his sleep on video and the Observer can be seen watching before he returns –another event Noah cannot remember happening
    • November 26, 2010 – Noah records a livestream with Sarah and her friend Kat; that night, he is dragged out of bed
      • February 14, 2012 – time warped and under something else’s influence, Noah kills Kat with a knife
    • November 26, 2010 – Sarah finds Noah covered in blood, laughing maniacally and charging at her with the knife
    • November 27, 2010 – Noah becomes himself again and forgets what happened, abruptly apologizes to Sarah, and leaves the house; he lives in his car for six days afterwards
  • December 3, 2010 – Noah wakes up to a nosebleed and finds a letter with “Token” written on it upon returning home
    • December 4, 2010 – Noah opens the Token Letter, finding a drawing of the Administrator, a tissue and bag of pills with notes mocking Noah’s sickness, a dissected flash drive, broken key, leaves, and a fortune
    • December 5, 2010 – Noah watches “ULTIMATUM”, a video from the flash drive in the same style as “HELLOTHERE”; it instructs him to look deeper, so he searches the bottom of the box and finds a recurring symbol of two intersecting eyes
    • December 6, 2010 – once Noah posts all of these findings in “The Token Letter”, the prominence of the word “observing” among all the clues prompts everyone to dub his stalker “the Observer”
  • December 7, 2010 – on Twitter, Sarah notes that one of the clips from the flash drive video shows her house, so Noah acknowledges the possibility that the Observer was there
    • December 11, 2010 – Noah has a pharmacist identify the pills, finding that 7 of them are Benadryl but the other 9 are unknown
    • December 24, 2010 – Noah sets up a Formspring account, still yet to review the Thanksgiving footage
  • January 1, 2011 – the Observer hijacks Noah’s Twitter, changing the information (“Bio: EYESEEYOU”), replacing the avatar with his symbol, and posting another image
    • January 2, 2011 – the Observer has players answer a riddle (“iwillsoonreturnbearinggifts. ⊙”); Noah takes back his account and changes all of its content back to normal
  • January 12, 2011– Noah calls Milo’s stepfather, John Fletcher, and learns that Mary Asher has been paranoid about a man called “Mr. Slim” for as long as John can remember and once confronted him with a knife, claiming that he was “working for him”
  • January 15, 2011 – Noah bikes by Victor Park’s boardwalk but does not enter
    • January 30, 2011 – Noah finally reviews the Thanksgiving footage, posting the first part February 2, 2011 and the second part the following day
  • February 17, 2011 – Noah finds an Observer-style image on his computer of an area in Victor Park (“followthearrows.jpg”)
    • February 19, 2011 – Noah finds a hidden folder called “ghostroot” containing malicious-looking files; opening one of them yields an error message from the Observer and deletes the entire folder, causing Noah to realize that the Token Letter’s flash drive has monitored him since December
  • March 13, 2011 – Noah returns to the Victor Park nature trail, finding notes from the Observer on the tower and encountering the Administrator; his tweets along the way get corrupted as the Observer takes him to “the dark place”
    • March 16, 2011 – Observer video “COMECLOSER” demands that Noah comply to the will of an unspecified “we”, himself included, so as to not be taken again
    • Over the next few days, the Observer hijacks Formspring with posts about how he has transcended humanity among others called the Collective, claiming not to be Milo but to have played a role in his death (“heisapartofusnow”); on Twitter, he has players answer a riddle and sends correct ones the file “tagebuch.jpg”, an image of a journal –the object of Karl’s to which the Observer alluded on Formspring
    • March 20, 2011 – Noah returns home, unable to remember his week-long disappearance or change his profile picture; the Observer has written “USELESS” on Noah’s knife and drawn the symbol on Noah’s hand
    • March 24, 2011 – as Noah uploads the “Nature Trail Visit” video, the Observer hijacks it with more messages about “playing” (an ability previously shown by his insertion of hidden frames into the videos)
  • May 12, 2011 – Noah sketches a vivid nightmare in which he lies in the fetal position on an Observer symbol (“the eyes surrounded me. they were hungry. he was watching. grinning”)

Season One, Part Two

  • May 20, 2011 – Noah’s parents (Sharon and Alex Maxwell) visit him to remodel the floors
    • June 12, 2011 – Noah records his parents telling him about the house fire from his childhood, in secret to ensure that they tell him the full truth; the Administrator was apparently there, just as it is in the background as they speak
    • June 16, 2011 – Noah receives an envelope marked with purple duct tape whose contents imply a connection between Milo and one “Dr. C”, the sender specifying that they are “NOT AN OBSERVER”
    • June 17, 2011 – Noah uploads “Summer Update”, “Secret Parent Interview”, and “The Envelope”, the last of which convinces viewers of the Everyman HYBRID channel that Noah has found a connection to them
  • July 11, 2011 – Noah tweets that he has spoken to the Everyman HYBRID group about the letter and learned that the doctor it references is named Corenthal
  • August 2, 2011 – a three-tone beep interrupts Noah’s description of another nightmare about the boardwalk, so he eventually traces its source to a device planted by the Observer; he then follows the sound of yelling and thumping to the closet, finding it empty save for a rubber eyeball
    • Noah has his tech friend Edward analyze the device; it is composed of a speaker, pager, 9-volt battery, computer fan, solar panel, and USB cable, definitely meant to monitor him
    • August 4, 2011 – Noah plugs the device into his computer with the data wires cut, yielding a spoken message from the Observer that anticipates his initial reactions despite being prerecorded
    • August 5, 2011 – Noah plugs the device with its resoldered wires into a library computer, the hidden folder on it showing that it had been around since the nature trail incident (March 13) and had recorded him for 24 hours on August 1 and 2, 2011
  • August 29, 2011 – Noah holds a livestream that gets cut off by Observer video “INTERRUPTION”, which references assimilation in the midst of the usual taunts; Noah finds the video on his channel due to it not playing on his end, and finds a note reading “I’M WAITING” after the police search turns up nothing
  • September 16, 2011 – Noah arrives in New York, first to visit family and then to meet the EverymanHYBRID boys in New Jersey; there is an Administrator appearance on the plane that he cannot remember, and Karl does not let him in because “it is not the right time”
    • September 17, 2011 – Noah and the EverymanHYBRID boys (Vince, Evan, and Jeff) discuss the envelope, whose unburnt letter has since been discovered and shows that Doctor Corenthal (who has been a sort of past-life connection for the group) met Milo as a child after he leapt from a park ranger’s tower (“not his fault. Man made him do it”), giving him the same journal he was shown using in 2008; the envelope was sent by HABIT, a non-Collective entity that has manipulated the EverymanHYBRID group
    • September 23, 2011 – Noah returns home
  • October 20, 2011 – the Observer posts a Twitter image with “11-11-11” written on it
    • October 21, 2011 – Noah considers staying at a hotel for Halloween
    • October 22, 2011 – Noah tweets that November 11 is his birthday, so the image means that something will happen then
    • October 31, 2011 – Noah stays at the hotel as planned, but the Observer plays tricks on him with sudden shifts in the time of day and physical layout of the hotel
    • November 4, 2011 – Noah returns home
  • November 10, 2011 – Noah receives a phone call from Mary Asher, who wants to know the identity of the “Mr. Scars” prophesied to kill her and, when pressed for answers, reveals that she knows about Noah’s dreams and the Collective’s intentions for him (obtaining the same Nazi journal that she once read, a task originally intended for Milo); she claims that Robert and John both worked for the Collective and that Milo’s body disappeared, hanging up on Noah when he cannot verify Mr. Scars’ identity
    • The Administrator appears in Noah’s hallway and the gun he bought proves useless, forcing him back to the hotel where he eventually goes to sleep
    • November 11, 2011 – Noah searches for the Observer after he pulls him out of bed, instead encountering a silhouetted figure with pinhole eyes and a smile; the Administrator and Collective take Noah again
    • The Observer again assumes control of Twitter and Formspring, his answers revealing that the Nazi journal was written by a soldier named Sebastian Kraus and describes an incident where “thecollectivewasthereinplainsight”; other Collective members include Deadhead, Mr. Scars, Cursor, Persolus, and Swain
    • November 13, 2011 – the Observer posts Twitter images of Noah struggling in the Administrator’s grasp as other silhouettes, presumably the Collective, stand by and watch
    • November 15, 2011 – Observer video “HAPPYBIRTHDAY” elaborates that Noah must take the “untouchable” journal to the boardwalk at dusk, the “incentive” being that he will reveal himself in the visage of “an old friend”; he also calls it Noah’s last birthday
    • November 16, 2011 – the Observer has players answer a riddle to find “somethingnoahdoesnotwantyoutosee”: the image of Milo’s body surrounded by caution tape, pill bottle spilled onto the floor
    • November 18, 2011 – the Observer returns Noah to his hotel room with mocking writing on his body
    • November 19, 2011 – Noah is furious at the Observer, and then at players for letting him post the image; he later apologizes due to their good intentions and returns home, unable to remember why his gun is missing and only now revealing that he had one
  • November 23, 2011 – Noah finds two bullet holes in his wall despite having fired at the Administrator four times (“I don't remember firing my gun. This is concerning”)
  • December 18, 2011 – Noah tweets that his camera’s footage includes scenes of Kevin holding cue cards, and that he now remembers seeing the man with pinhole eyes without ever identifying him (the footage of that entire stretch of time having been difficult to recover)
  • January 6, 2012 – the “November 11th” video includes an Observer segment implicating Noah as an inevitable recruit to the Collective; the hidden frame identifies the man with pinhole eyes as Firebrand, and the scene of Kevin reveals his resemblance to the Observer
  • February 14, 2012 – the Observer interrupts Noah’s Valentine’s Day livestream with a series of tweets that establish the Administrator’s title and include images of relevant Collective members; Noah learns over the phone with his mother and Sarah, respectively, that John Fletcher and Kat were recently murdered –Sarah suspecting his involvement in the latter instance due to reports of a man with a torn shirt
    • Noah is paralyzed by sedatives left in place of his headache pills and encounters the Administrator; the Observer considers taking him but lets viewers decide that he will not
  • March 1, 2012 – Noah has a dream about Mr. Scars, a man sitting alone and crying into his hands
    • Sarah tweets that “they” are in her house to kill her, and the Observer hijacks her account to confirm it; Noah finds out, demands the Observer take him instead, and apologizes to Sarah
    • March 2, 2012 – Noah takes back his previous tweet about being unable to “live with any more stolen lives on [his] conscience”, restating his intention to win the Observer’s game
  • August 17, 2012 – Noah recaps what has happened outside his YouTube channel, including that Sarah’s death by multiple stab wounds was ruled a suicide and that one of the “independent investigators” Noah has contacted has purportedly found an obscure organization’s manifest containing Mary’s name
  • August 20, 2012 – Sam, the conspiracy theorist investigator, shows Noah the 1985 Manifest with Mary’s name and informs him that Chris and Alex from the Dark Harvest channel would know about its cult of origin, the Order
    • August 24, 2012 – Noah goes to New Jersey and meets Daniel Shipman, the friend of Chris and Alex who has promised to drive Noah home
    • Noah meets Chris and Alex, who only agree to help him talk to the Order under the condition that he keep their involvement a secret and stay safe due to the cult’s violent nature; that night, he receives a note to get in from their ex-friend, Jesse
    • August 25, 2012 – Noah gleans few answers about Mary’s involvement in the cult from its Overseer (except that she was recruited by an elder named Henka Visæ), and being ambushed by other members causes him to give away Chris and Alex’s names; the Administrator appears first to attack the cultists, and then outside the car to warp Noah, Chris, and Alex away
    • August 29, 2012 – the group find themselves on a beach in daylight, which is where Chris and Alex leave Noah on account of his broken promise; Noah calls Daniel for a ride and learns that three days have passed
    • Noah apologizes to the Dark Harvest guys over Twitter and links to their video of events, uploading his own in September
  • October 11, 2012 – the Observer posts a Twitter image warning about November 11; Noah responds that he is not giving into the Observer’s demands and will hold a livestream that day, not taking note of the faint text in a different style reading “not if I can help it” in the image
  • October 20, 2012 – Noah tweets that the dreams about Mr. Scars are recurring, calling him “eerily familiar”
  • October 30, 2012 – the Observer posts another Twitter image with faint text in a different style (“do not worry/I will stop him”)
  • October 31, 2012 – Noah records a tearful catharsis as a goodbye to his loved ones, admitting that he can now remember killing Kat under the Collective’s influence and expects to become a Collective member
    • November 2, 2012 – the Observer’s hidden frames of “CORRECT” in the “Catharsis” video confirm these two points
  • November 9, 2012 – Noah receives an envelope from the Observer containing a note from Kevin (“Kill me I’m only a tool/He can’t use my body then”) and the same rubber eyeball Noah found in “The Device”
  • November 10, 2012 – the Observer’s final Twitter image to include another’s text (“I will protect you”)
  • November 11, 2012 – Noah holds the livestream drunk, surviving 11:11 PM due to the interference of someone signing his tweets as “~F”; just as his annoyance at not dying is turned to grief and fear, Noah encounters himself staring back at him with the camera
    • The Observer interrupts the livestream with a message about Noah’s assimilation, which Firebrand intercepts with his own message about how he is protecting Noah and always has been through such hidden messages as the “river’s flow” quote from the box; some of his instructions to Noah are omitted due to the Administrator, and the Observer furiously takes back the video to demand that Noah disregard Firebrand’s advice
    • August 2, 2011 – due to Firebrand directing Noah away from the Collective’s realm to “elsewhere”, Noah leaves the rubber eyeball in his closet while locked inside and screaming to catch his past self’s attention
    • November 11, 2011 – Noah, appearing as Firebrand, encounters his past self in the hotel and watches the Administrator abduct him
    • November 11, 2012 – Noah encounters himself from the moment the time loop started, concluding it; he returns to the livestream and watches “INTERCEPTION”, realizing that Firebrand is his future self in the Collective
  • November 13, 2012 – Noah, coming to terms with events, tweets that he will not explain what happened until viewers see the video for themselves
    • November 22, 2012 – Noah tweets that he is “thankful for a second chance”
    • December 3, 2012 – Noah tweets that Kevin “seems completely normal, but certainly less talkative. I don't trust that. Something's not right”
    • December 25, 2012 – “The Live Stream Incident” ends with Noah thanking Firebrand, hence the hidden frame (“you’re fucking welcome”)

Season Two

  • June 4, 2013 – Firebrand’s video “DEUS EX MACHINA” reveals that HABIT, “a loathsome entity with mutual interests” currently possessing Evan, freed him from the Administrator; Firebrand is dedicated to helping Noah to the best of his ability as “a rogue god”, and Noah’s next step is to receive a briefcase from Mr. Scars
  • June 14, 2013 – Noah tweets that Mary could be Cursor and Milo could be Mr. Scars
  • August 13, 2013 – Noah tweets about another dream (“running in the woods. searching for something. see a dead body. turn around, im on an old bridge. someone comes up behind me. i wake”)
  • August 28, 2013 – Firebrand posts a Twitter image of Mr. Scars walking down a road with the briefcase
    • August 29, 2013 – Noah receives a letter with “Obituary” on one side and black tape on the other
    • August 31, 2013 – Noah receives a call from his mother informing him that Mary was found murdered in her submerged car, so the letter turns out to contain the newspaper on her death and four photographs of the crime scene; Mr. Scars leaves the briefcase at the door as soon as Noah reads the note instructing him to answer it
  • September 2, 2013 – Noah opens the briefcase with the code “642010”, finding the Sudoku Rubik’s Cube, a letter from Milo, Milo’s journal, a pair of shoes with a DV tape inside one of them, and nearly $100,000 in hundred dollar bills; a future version of Noah appears and says “it wasn’t easy, but you can thank me later”
    • September 8, 2013 – Chris calls Noah to ask for $1,000 because the murder of his and Alex’s families have forced them to live on the run; Noah is reluctant due to his distrust of the money (and Chris’ claim as it coincides with his discovery), so Chris offers to prove it by posting the video –which he ultimately does
    • September 15, 2013 – Noah tweets “at a crossroads. What would you do for a friend in need?”
    • November 3, 2013 – Noah calls Chris back to say that he will send $2,000, apologizing again for his meeting with the Order
  • November 11, 2013 – in “Case Findings”, Noah notes that he will not cut open the journal due to finding a key in the soles of Milo’s shoes, which belongs to the journal but will not open it
    • November 16, 2013 – Noah posts “Milo’s Tape”, in which Milo wakes up in his empty house with the Observer’s instructions to kill Mary within 120 hours (“OR WE KILL YOU”) and receives the briefcase from Noah with the gun and money inside; he directs Mary to the house, confronts her about her intention of sacrificing him since he was born, and shoots her after confirming his identity as Mr. Scars
  • December 20, 2013 – Firebrand tweets that Noah “will soon be gifted valuable information from our mutual acquaintance as per our agreement. be wary, he's a dangerous one”
    • December 24, 2013 – Noah receives HABIT’s mocking letter and suddenly finds himself warped to New Jersey, where the “silly-evil” entity forces a meeting to tell him that the intersecting-eyes symbol represents “severance” and “with the right intentions” could be used to take control away from the Administrator; eventually, he kicks Noah out
    • September 29, 2013 – date displayed on Noah’s phone as he wanders unnaturally shifting streets in search of a bridge that Firebrand tells him to find via text; he meets Jeff there despite HABIT having murdered him, and HABIT reappears to say that Noah should disregard Jeff’s advice of suicide and instead “do what I asked… sorry, do what you want to do”
    • December 25, 2013 – HABIT returns Noah home
  • June 4, 2014 – Noah tweets that the Collective’s inactivity has broken him
  • August 14, 2014 – a Vine account linked to the Tribe Twelve Twitter surfaces, its first video featuring Milo’s journal
  • September 6, 2014 – Noah tweets about his continuing sanity slippage as “the journal mocks [him]”
  • October 26, 2014 – Noah tweets that he is sick of finding fortune cookies around his house
    • October 30, 2014 – another Vine video features the fortune cookies
    • November 11, 2014 – Noah records an update while thoroughly unkempt, establishing that the journal’s aforementioned mocking is entirely literal due to audible whispers in the video; he briefly warps to the boardwalk before Firebrand sends him back
  • December 12, 2014 – beginning of eight months wherein the journal pressures Noah to open it and identifies the area under his desk as “the crawlspace”; he cannot bring himself to force the journal open or burn it when tempted, and on one night the Observer follows Noah with a knife
    • February 10, 2015 – another Vine video features the boardwalk
    • August 26, 2015 – the Observer appears over Noah’s bed and suddenly faces the camera, telling him to visit the boardwalk
    • August 27, 2015 – Noah warps to the boardwalk through the crawlspace twice, once accidentally and then deliberately
  • August 28, 2015 – Noah enters the boardwalk and Collective realm through the crawlspace, losing Milo’s journal as the Administrator reaches towards him and he warps home; furious with himself, he drives back and re-enters the Collective realm
    • The Observer tricks Noah into climbing a watchtower’s now-infinite stairs and pushes him into an impossibly long fall; Kevin leads Noah to a building called “Museum of Medical History”, and he collapses shortly after returning to the boardwalk through its automatic doors
    • The Observer hijacks the Twitter to answer six viewer questions
    • At least two days into the Collective realm, the Administrator assumes a giant spider form and chases Noah; Noah later encounters a crazier future version of himself (to be shown in the video “Sisyphus”) who mentions losing track of time “on house arrest”, shows him Sebastian’s journal and blade, and slashes Noah’s hand with it (which leaves a scar)
    • After a week of Administrator and Observer encounters, Noah warps to a room with an earlier-future Noah (to be shown in “Rendezvous”) who returns Milo’s journal and says that Noah enters into “the dark times” after getting Sebastian’s journal (with whose distorted interior he spiritually assaults the distrustful 2015 Noah), Firebrand’s vagueness protects Noah and “the loop” from the Collective, and Noah can escape after destroying a Severance symbol by the pier; Noah warps back
    • The Collective trick Noah into entering a mirage of his home; his future self calls, helping him escape by playing along with “Kevin” (Observer) and drawing Severance on the door
    • Noah escapes per his future selves’ instructions
  • September 4, 2015 – Noah returns home
    • September 17, 2015 – Noah tweets to confirm his return (“a week it says. but it was longer. a month. counted the days. saw things. dont even want to touch camera. i was in hell”)
  • October 31, 2015 – Firebrand video “DEATHTRAPEXODUS” addresses Noah about the lesson he has learned about the Collective realm, how he must now apply Severance to Milo’s journal, and how the dark times and “flood” will follow his opening of Sebastian’s journal; the Observer hijacks the video, more unstable than ever
  • November 11, 2015 – Noah opens Milo’s journal (“never been harder to turn a page. feels like dissecting a corpse. a solemn birthday”)
  • February 2016 – Noah sends Stan Frederick an angry voicemail saying that he is no longer accepting Stan’s services as a paranormal investigator; Stan receives this four months later
  • March 17, 2016 – Firebrand posts a Twitter image of Noah’s fall from the impossibly tall watchtower
  • July 4, 2016 – Reddit user Scriniarii posts a message to /r/TribeTwelve about how “the sensum will take the keyword and submit it to the archive”; this would eventually get them banned after enough repetition in following months
    • September 26, 2016 – Firebrand video “SCRINIARII” reprimands players for their treatment of Scriniarii, actually an ally of his from the Collective; they solve an ensuing puzzle by discovering two unlisted videos, one of which shows a second page of the Order manifest, and Noah verifies on Twitter that he has never heard of Scriniarii
    • October 16, 2016 – Scriniarii, having given a vague non-answer to players’ vague non-question in a Reddit Q&A (“What info can you give us that Noah does not yet know, but needs to?”: “All of it”), provides another puzzle leading them to a text file; in it, he describes reliving his loved ones’ deaths because players (“Sensum”) fail not to act as individuals or understand the loop
    • October 22, 2016 – in a coded message, Scriniarii thanks the sensum for building a “Comprehensive Timeline”, as this protects the loop; a week later, he directs them to two YouTube videos about temporal paradoxes
  • November 11, 2016 – Noah starts his hosting of the Journal of Milo Asher on a blog called “Noah Maxwell's Archive”, which he protects using the Severance symbol; Scriniarii tells sensum to “protect the archive, protect the loop”
  • April 21, 2017 – Scriniarii gives sensum on Discord a riddle that leads them to spider.tribetwelve.com”, a Google Form entitled “2.1” requesting contact information
